Giggle Academy Faces Cyber Attack

Giggle Academy, an innovative educational platform founded by Binance’s creator, Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao, is currently grappling with a significant cyber attack. The platform’s official X account has been compromised, leading to the dissemination of misleading information. CZ has taken to social media to alert his followers about the fraudulent messages being circulated by the hackers. The phishing links shared during this incident have raised serious security alarms among the platform’s user base. As the account remains under threat, both CZ and his dedicated team are working tirelessly to resolve the issue and secure the account. Users are strongly advised to exercise caution regarding any communications originating from the hacked account.

Binance Founder Issues Warning

In a statement released on November 16, CZ confirmed that the official X account of Giggle Academy had fallen victim to a cyber breach. The attackers propagated false claims, including the announcement of a “new CEO” for the platform, and urged users to click on phishing links to supposedly verify the news. As of now, the account has not been restored. CZ and the Binance team are diligently working to reclaim control of the account. He has urged his followers to remain vigilant about suspicious content and links until the account is fully secured.

Giggle Academy was initiated by CZ with a noble mission: to provide free education from grades 1 to 12. The platform seeks to make learning not only accessible but also enjoyable through gamification techniques. Its primary focus is to make a significant impact in countries where literacy rates are alarmingly low. This ambitious project operates without a revenue model and aims to innovate and transform global education.

Last week, he referenced a tweet from a year ago, reiterating the essential value of cryptocurrency, which he described as “a better form of money that supports billions.” Following Bitcoin’s remarkable surge to a historic high of $93,434, CZ encouraged his followers to “be on the right side of history.”
